I have been working with Woodlake now for close to two years. When I started scheduling IMEs, I did so with a couple of providers in order to get a feel for their operations. The thing that I found with Woodlake, and quite possibly the most important thing that I would like in a vendor, is that I am not worried about things getting done. They are done once requested, whether it be a last minute request for MRI films or re-scheduling an appointment. This is a testimony to the company’s organization and each person’s role at the company being performed effectively/efficiently.
I can call anyone at Woodlake and they can help me find a doctor in the area I am looking for and they would be happy to do so. I had the opportunity to attend a seminar that they sponsored with Midwest Orthopaedics at Rush and saw first-hand the relationship that the company has with the doctors that they put on their provider list. Building this relationship is what I do not have the opportunity to do as an adjuster and therefore, I can count on a company to interview/interact/quality check the IME doctors.
