Just wanted to let you know how easy it has been using Woodlake’s services. The email address for medical records and letters has made the process of getting you the patient’s information continually painless. It is also very easy to send updated records as they come in prior to an IME being scheduled and knowing the records will be included with the originals sent. I have also come to find out that your services will correspond with the IME doctor for an addendum, and as long as I have provided the information, it gets done right away. The “quick report” has been a good tool in predicting what the IME will say and how I may need to progress on the claim prior to the full report being received. Being able to set up an IME and get a response with an IME date within 24 hours or less (always less) has been key in helping me manage my claims that I get IMEs on. Your network of doctors really helps in “odd” cases or if I am looking for a specific doctor, Woodlake has always been able to get me the type of doctor that is needed. Thanks for helping out in the hectic world of claims.

I have been working with Woodlake now for close to two years. When I started scheduling IMEs, I did so with a couple of providers in order to get a feel for their operations. The thing that I found with Woodlake, and quite possibly the most important thing that I would like in a vendor, is that I am not worried about things getting done. They are done once requested, whether it be a last minute request for MRI films or re-scheduling an appointment. This is a testimony to the company’s organization and each person’s role at the company being performed effectively/efficiently. I can call anyone at Woodlake and they can help me find a doctor in the area I am looking for and they would be happy to do so. I had the opportunity to attend a seminar that they sponsored with Midwest Orthopaedics at Rush and saw first-hand the relationship that the company has with the doctors that they put on their provider list. Building this relationship is what I do not have the opportunity to do as an adjuster and therefore, I can count on a company to interview/interact/quality check the IME doctors.

I wanted to send you this note just to let you know that I have found Woodlake Medical to be a wonderful source for scheduling and following up on my IMEs. Some of the features that I like the most are:
- I do not get caught in the telephone tag game with a doctor’s office when it comes to scheduling. You have cut down my scheduling time from days to a matter of hours!!
- I have the distinct impression that I can get earlier dates than when I was dealing directly with the doctor’s office. It is now weeks, not months!
- Reports!!!! They are some of the best-written reports and very timely. This is not to say that they always go my way, but I feel confident in their completeness and timeliness.
- Staff cooperation - the staff that I work with at Woodlake is always cooperative, professional, and helpful!!
- You can customize the services to fit your needs, both economically and fitting with time constraints. Do your own cover letter or let Woodlake do it, along with claimant notification and diagnostic searches.

I choose Woodlake to set up my IMEs because it’s a “one stop shop”. The best part is the online referral. I can go to the website, click on the questions that I want the doctor to address, order mileage, and request a follow up call to the claimant in less than five minutes. This cut down a great deal of time I’d spend typing a letter to employee and cutting a mileage check.
